Hussain is a talented and passionate 17-year-old artist and photographer. He is interested in art and comic drawing and am seeking to develop his talent. He was very active in the art community before this war started.

“My dreams of creating and selling paintings together with my friends have now been replaced with grief, as several have passed away or relocated out of Gaza.
All of us are living together in this nightmare that we wish we could wake up from.”
Hussain, Issam, and their family were forced to fled to a residence of family friends in Deir al-Balah on October 13. The neighbors who gave them transportation were slain, and the house they were staying in was shelled. They now’re living in terrible conditions in a small tent with no windows, doors, electricity, or water, while facing significant loss of family and friends. Below are Hussain’s and Issam’s words that they want to share with you.
