Between 2002 and 2012, I was commissioned by BFO to carry out art projects on behalf of and during the 5 May festival in Zwolle. In the first years, I was one of the many Zwolle artists involved, but that changed as the festival became bigger and more professional. From 2006, I worked on the annual event as part of a team. From 2009, the core team consisted of Mark van Enk and myself. In close cooperation with the organisation and many volunteers and sometimes with the help of other artists, we were able to come up with large and complex installations and concepts.

Tussen 2002 en 2012 heb ik in opdracht van BFO kunstprojecten uitgevoerd voor en tijdens het 5 mei festival in Zwolle. De eerste jaren was ik een van de vele Zwolse kunstenaars die betrokken werd maar namate het festival groter en proffesioneler werd veranderde dat. Vanaf 2006 heb ik in team verband aan het jaarlijkse evenement meegewerkt. Het kern team bestond vanaf 2009 uit Mark van Enk en mijzelf. In nauwe samenwerking met de organisatie en vele vrijwilligers en soms de hulp van andere kunstenaars waren we instaat grote en complexe installaties en concepten te bedenken.
