The art installation Remains Of Today includes 260 distinct small works of art as of today, 04-01-2023. I started making small 30/30cm artworks at the end of 2018. Each canvas is circular artwork, made from trash I find on the street, plastic bags, texts from magazines , old textiles, used wood and more. The overall artwork is an indictment of the consumer society. Each canvas is accompanied by a short story, a light philosophical reflection, Through these reflections I relate it to current events; issues and observations of the present. Sometimes lighthearted and absurdist sometimes critical.
So 260 pieces now. We are steadily progressing to 400.
