Good news! A long period of uncertainty is coming to an end because: I’M MOVING!!!!! New studio, new neighbourhood, new view.
I’ll be moving at the end of July, and starting August 1, my studio address will be: Gelijkheid 3, 8014 XC in Zwolle—formerly Jena XL, room 1.9. It will be my largest studio yet, at 135m2. It’s another temporary studio, but I can finally breathe a sigh of relief.
It coincides nicely with a great community art project I’ll be carrying out in Zwolle Zuid with the deltaWonen housing corporation and Het werkt Sociaal, commissioned by deltaWonen. That project kicks off at the end of August with an initial meeting. So that will be my first major achievement from my new studio.
In the meantime, I’m still looking for a permanent space of about 60–90 m², so if you’re reading this and think you might be able to help out (in the future), let me know!
I’ll definitely miss this crazy but wonderful spot on Rieteweg—I’ve met so many great people and had so many great experiences here!
For now, time to pack up and (almost) head out!
