Commissioned by Delta Wonen Location: Wade Belvedere in the shopping centre of Stadshagen, Zwolle
The children of Stadshagen were challenged to join me in making optimistic designs for a mural in the Wade Belvedere building in the shopping centre of Stadshagen, Zwolle. This resulted in various insect designs. These designs were enlarged to the scale of the entreelobby of the complex. A selection of these children also collaborated in the execution of the chosen design on the wall. Zoom was commissioned by housing corporation Delta Wonen.
“Summer is exuberant green, sunlight, fun and holidays. But summer is also life, and on a micro level an outburst of all kinds of small life. By looking at them under a magnifying glass or a zoom lens, as it were, you not only look at them differently but you can also discover very beautiful new things.”
